Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon Faces Abdulla Dayakaev in High-Stakes Bantamweight Muay Thai Showdown at ONE Fight Night 39

Thailand’s Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon will meet Russia’s Abdulla Dayakaev in the main event of ONE Fight Night 39 on January 24 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. The bantamweight Muay Thai bout represents a significant step toward championship contention for both fighters, with the winner potentially positioning himself for a future title shot against reigning ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nabil Anane.โ€‹

The matchup was originally scheduled for ONE Fight Night 37 in November 2025, but Dayakaev withdrew during fight week due to a hand infection. Now fully recovered, both fighters enter the contest riding four-fight winning streaks and holding identical motivation to climb the divisional rankings.โ€‹

Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon vs. Abdulla Dayakaev

Rambolek arrives at ONE Fight Night 39 with a professional striking record of 61-12-3. The 22-year-old earned his breakthrough at ONE Friday Fights 7 in March 2023, becoming the first fighter to secure a $100,000 contract from the weekly series after second-round knockouts of Theeradet Chor Hapayak and Zhang Chenglong.

His early momentum stalled at ONE Fight Night 14 in September 2023, when American Asa Ten Pow caught him with a spinning elbow in the third round.โ€‹ Try building some momentum with casino games and verified welcome bonus offers.

The setback prompted Rambolek to join Superbon Training Camp, where he trains under ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon and former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Hama. The move transformed his approach. He has since compiled four consecutive victories, including a second-round TKO of Parham Gheirati at ONE Fight Night 29 in March 2025 and a second-round finish of Dmitrii Kovtun at ONE Fight Night 35 in September 2025. Rambolek currently holds the No. 4 ranking in the bantamweight Muay Thai division.โ€‹

Dayakaev carries a professional record of 15-2. The 23-year-old Dagestan-born striker began his ONE Championship journey at ONE Friday Fights 39 in November 2023. After compiling a 6-1 record on the weekly series, including his only promotional loss to Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri by unanimous decision at ONE Friday Fights 82, Dayakaev earned his own $100,000 contract following a first-round knockout of Alessio Malatesta at ONE Friday Fights 96 in February 2025.โ€‹

His main roster debut at ONE Fight Night 31 in May 2025 demonstrated his resilience. Dayakaev absorbed a knockdown from Saemapetch Fairtex in the second round before rallying to stop the former title challenger at 1:44 of the frame. The victory elevated him to No. 5 in the rankings. At ONE Fight Night 33 in July 2025, Dayakaev delivered the fastest knockout in ONE Championship Muay Thai history, demolishing Nontachai Jitmuangnon in 24 seconds. The finish earned him a $50,000 performance bonus.โ€‹

Rambolek describes himself as a counter-striker who waits for opponents to commit before responding with precision timing. Dayakaev relies heavily on explosive boxing combinations and aggressive forward pressure. Nicknamed “Smash Boy,” he has finished six of eight opponents under the ONE Championship banner, representing a 75 percent finishing rate.

Both fighters possess genuine knockout power. Rambolek has stopped opponents with varied strikes throughout his career, while Dayakaev became the first fighter to finish several opponents via knockout, including Alessio Malatesta and Nontachai Jitmuangnon. Neither competitor expects the judges to determine the outcome.โ€‹

The bantamweight Muay Thai division has solidified under Nabil Anane’s reign. The 21-year-old Thai-Algerian was elevated from interim champion to undisputed titleholder in June 2025 after Superlek Kiatmoo9 missed weight for their scheduled unification bout at ONE 172. Anane defeated Superlek by unanimous decision in the three-round non-title affair, adding to his previous interim title victory over Nico Carrillo at ONE 170. A convincing victory at ONE Fight Night 39 could position the winner for a title eliminator or direct championship opportunity.

Historical odds from Rambolek’s previous bout against Craig Coakley at ONE Fight Night 29 in August 2025 showed him as a significant favorite at -500. Dayakaev’s odds history indicates he has competed as both underdog and favorite depending on opponent credentials.โ€‹

Both corners predict an early finish. Rambolek stated he will “put his lights out” before Dayakaev can land his dangerous punches. Dayakaev responded by promising to meet Rambolek in the center of the ring and finish him with his superior boxing. Superbon anticipates a fight with “KO potential for both sides,” acknowledging the mutual finishing threats.โ€‹
